Marco Fabiano

Assistant Coach

Marco Fabiano is in his first season in 2024 as an assistant coach with the Mercer women's soccer program. A native of Kenosha, Wisconsin, Fabiano joined Mercer after spending the last two seasons as an assistant coach for the men’s soccer team at Division II’s, University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
 
In two seasons at Wisconsin-Parkside, Fabiano helped guide the Rangers to a 21-9-7 overall record and a 14-3-5 record in conference play. Wisconsin-Parkside was ranked as high as 6th in the Division II rankings in the 2023 season.
 
Wisconsin-Parkside reached the Men’s NCAA Tournament in each of the last two seasons with Fabiano as an assistant coach. The Rangers won two NCAA Tournament games in 2022. Fabiano helped orchestrate Wisconsin-Parkside’s defense which was especially strong in 2022 as the Rangers led the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) in 12 conference games in goals against average at 0.67 goals allowed per game.
 
Fabiano also has coaching experience at the club level where he has been the Director of Coaching with Red Star Soccer Club since 2021 and has been coaching for the club since 2017.
 
Fabiano is also an Olympic Development Program (ODP) Administrator where he oversees all operations and administrative duties for over 800 OPD players.
 
Fabiano played collegiately at Division I’s University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from 2017-19. He then transferred to Wisconsin-Parkside where he played three seasons for the Rangers.
 
Fabiano received his MBA with a concentration in General Management from Wisconsin-Parkside in 2022. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Wisconsin-Parkside in 2021.
