Ryan Seemuller

Assistant Coach

Ryan Seemuller is in his first year in 2024 of working with the Mercer women's soccer program.

A native of Collegeville, Pennsylvania, Seemuller joins Mercer after spending the last two seasons with the women's soccer program at the University of Alabama.

While working with the Alabama women's soccer program, Seemuller oversaw diverse operations of on and off field training, equipment management, as well as game day operations. He coordinated film analysis for the players and coaching staff to use. He also, attended daily coaches’ meetings, participated in training sessions when needed to balance numbers, and led ID camp groups.

Seemuller has been involved in coaching soccer since 2015 when he was a student assistant coach with Liverpool FC International Academy and Delran FC in New Jersey. In his three years as a student assistant coach at those respective clubs, Seemuller worked closely with the head coach with responsibilities such as supporting training sessions and in-game management. He also was trained to deliver Liverpool FC's curriculum and philosophy.

In 2023, Seemuller worked as a head coach at YSC Sports back near his hometown in Pennsylvania. His responsibilities while there included cultivating a fun learning environment for players as well as planning and executing daily training sessions for players aged 6-13. He supervised a team and an assistant coach, motivated and instructed players, and worked closely with program organizers.

Seemuller played soccer growing up and played with semi-pro team FC Birmingham.
